Linda Jones and Neil Aitchison

Linda Jones and Neil Aitchison are parents of twins, Emily and Melissa, aged 12. Linda is editor of the family activities site Ready for Ten and is regularly insulted at AOL Parentdish. Linda and Neil love Pembrokeshire and Ceridigion. A keen golfer, Neil’s dream break would be Portugal’s Algarve or sampling the beautiful links course at St Andrews. Unfortunately Fudge, the rescue Jack Russell isn’t welcome as she would nick all the balls.Linda set up Have a Lovely Time as she was fed up of reading about ‘ideal’ family holidays in the Maldives or Tuscany – sure they would be fantastic, but well, we can’t afford to go there. Equally galling are all the media features about ‘surviving’ time with your children. Go on, have a lovely time — together.

Carol Garrington

Along with husband Paul, their two boys, Morgan and Dylan and Pearl, the best looking dog in the world (not pictured) Carol loves going to France. The boys also love outdoor activities, so anything to do with rock climbing, fishing, canoeing and they are happy. Their holidays also include regular visits to family in Cornwall, Wales and Malta. Carol whinges a lot about the distance, but don’t tell her we said that.
The Garrington family is also part of the Xbox Family Ambassador programme for Have a Lovely Time, which means they get to report on the latest games for Xbox and Kinect, as well as taking part in gaming events, previews and launches.

Helen Moffat

Helen is mum to daughters Ellie and Rhona, married to Stewart, and generally happiest when outside. Not a big fan of rainy days, though it is an excuse for making and baking, and watching old films. The family loves trips in our trailer tent, days on the beach, French holidays, picnics, baking cup cakes, jumping in muddy puddles and making – and eating – pizza.
The girls’ other favourite passtime is badgering daddy to get a dog (can we though, yes, yes, can we, can we).

Kim Nash

Kim is the marketing co-ordinator at Passionate Media and mum to Oliver aged three and a half. Before Oliver came along Kim enjoyed numerous holidays in Europe and the Caribbean and for 14 months she managed to squeeze in a holiday or weekend abroad every single month. Kim is also a book lover and she recently set up her own book blog where she reviews books for authors and publishing houses. She is also a Reiki practitioner (although she only puts this to use on family and friends) and she makes costume jewellery.

Julie Metcalfe

Julie, our graphic designer, family is made up of partner Gordon, Alex (18) and Charlotte (21). Their favourite holidays include trips to Europe, they love exploring the history of places, visiting museums, walking and taking in the beautiful surroundings and architecture.Their dream is to live in Big Sur, California. Having visited twice, they have fallen in love with the laid back lifestyle and large open spaces. They also enjoy city breaks, eating out, cocktails and wine tasting and have a passion for Mexican food.
