Just before we went off on our summer driving holiday to France, we were sent an All Surface Swingball to review by Mookie Toys (www.mookietoys.co.uk). I returned home with it and we ummed and ahhed a little, wondering whether we could actually fit just one more thing in the car. After a bit of reshuffling in the boot we managed to squeeze it in as it comes in quite a compact package which makes it really portable.
We went to a camp site in France, so there were lots of opportunities to get the swingball out and have a game. It’s one of those games that’s really good fun for both kids and adults, and especially entertaining after the adults have had a glass of French vino!
We even took it on a beach trip one of the days. It has a base construction so doesn’t have to gouge a big whole out of any grass and it worked really well on the sand and it’s not too heavy to carry along with all the other baggage that a beach trip requires.
My two girls aged six and nine have had lots of fun with it since we’ve been back home, and it has been on many of our camping trips since and a few picnics too. With Swingball, you just have to remember to concentrate hard, pay attention and if you’re not – duck!
