Some great news from Drayton Manor Theme Park to share with our Have A Lovely Time readers.
First there were Funday Fridays, which turned out to be so popular that the park introduced Manic Mondays. But now the award-winning Staffordshire attraction has decided to combine the two and offer discount entry twice a week for the next three weeks.
This means the public will only have to pay £10 to enter the park on Fridays and Mondays on the below dates, and all they have to do is arrive wearing a specific coloured item of clothing, along with a voucher downloaded from the park’s website, www.draytonmanor.co.uk, or via a link on Drayton Manor’s Facebook page, www.facebook.com/DraytonManorPark.
The clothing could be anything from t-shirts or socks, to wigs or trousers. The colours that must be worn are:
Friday 15th June – Green
Monday 18th June – Red
Friday 22nd June – Yellow
Monday 25th June – White
Friday 29th June – Pink
Monday 2nd July – Blue
As an added bonus, Manic Monday and Fun day Friday visitors are also encouraged to take photographs of their trip and upload to Drayton Manor’s Facebook page . Every week the picture judged to be the best will win four tickets to the theme park, so the more elaborate the outfit, the better the chance of winning!
Colin Bryan, Drayton Manor Theme Park’s managing director, said: “We originally launched Funday Fridays in late 2011, but it turned out to be so popular that earlier this year we ran the Manic Monday offer. Now we’ve decided to give our visitors something else to brighten up their day and save them money on a fantastic day out.
“This initiative is one of our offers planned for this season to ensure that Drayton Manor Theme Park remains a value for money day out when compared to other similar sized attractions in the UK.”
