THIS was the first film Emily and Melissa experienced at the cinema so it had a lot to live up to.
When we saw it on the big screen, we inevitably came away chatting excitedly about a milestone we'd never forget and how much we had enjoyed it.
So when we were sent a new Blu Ray version by the team at ThinkParents, as part of their work with British parent bloggers, there was much whooping in anticipation.
And as expected, this is the film we have enjoyed on Blu Ray the most so far. Though it's not difficult when you consider the others were Wall-E and Bedtime Stories.
As I said at the time, great picture shame about the plot.
Becky at Englishmum reports: You really could see every little strand of fur on Sully’s back with the combo of HD TV and Blu-ray disc. (Ooh, listen to me, I’m all technofabulous!)
I'm not going to disagree with her. This is Disney on finest form, just like in G-Force. Shrek may beat it by a whisker when it comes to belly laughs, but it's still a full-on family fun fest.
Empire said it was more innocent than Toy Story.
That means we enjoyed it in the cinema and enjoyed it at home too. Thanks Sulley and Mike, even if I can never remember which one is which.
As if by magic, there's a special offer on the Blu Ray disc on Amazon and you can buy it through the Havealovelytime.com shop. I'll get the kettle on for an over the counter natter.
